After having talks with the CRTC, Rogers has agreed to pay $200 000 for breaking Canada's Anti-Spam law.

Rogers has been found guilty, between July 2014 and July 2015, of sending e-mails where the unsubscribe function wasn't working for the required 60 days after being sent.

Also, Rogers didn't follow-up on unsubscribe requests within the 10 day delay allowed. For these reasons, the company has been charged $200 000.

The CRTC has also taken note that Rogers has given them full collaboration during their investigation and have already implemented various solutions to fix their problems.
