Internet Explorer will be officially dead (almost) on January 12th 2016!

Wednesday, January 6, 2016

Microsoft just announced that starting on January 12th 2016, it won't support Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10 anymore. What that means is that anyone who uses those browsers will be left with important security holes and, more and more, functionnalities on certain websites will stop working. Their latest update will be the last one.

In fact, with update KB3123303, Internet Explorer will highly recommend, everytime you open it, to update your browser if you're on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.

That means that Internet Explorer 11 will be the last "old" browser supported by Microsoft, much to the delight of the Web community!

So if you're one of the users of Internet Explorer 8, 9 or 10, we HIGHLY recommend you update your browser before it's too late.
