After the brutal attacks on Paris, hacker group Anonymous decided that enough was enough and announced it would attack ISIS.

Within 24 hours, the group was already posting its first victims of their attacks:

  • 1000 Facebook and Twitter accounts, including IP addresses and e-mails linked to the Islamic State;
  • 100 websites linked to ISIS (which were also taken down either by the group or by their provider).

The group is also believed to be behind the closing of over 150 ISIS-linked websites, 100 000 Twitter profiles and 5 900 videos.
