This time, after attending an UX (user experience) conference, our customer wanted to make changes on his website to implement what he learned. After discussing with him, we re-designed his entire website, while at the same time including various aspects of what was presented in that conference. By partnering up with a specialized UX firm who prepared the initial wireframes with us, we've built the various designs required for the website.
Afterwards, we converted everything in a responsive HTML5 file and made all the necessary adjustments for the mobile and tablet versions. It goes without saying that our CMS (Content Management System), and in this case a CRM (Client Relationship Manager) is an important part of all our websites.
We also added new functionalities like alerts that allow visitors to get notifications when there are new last-minute deals and promotions. We also upgraded his search engine with all the latest tools and filters to optimize all the search results, a new intuitive interactive map was added and we finally put the possibility to list your favorite cottages, which really helps when you're in your final picks for the perfect cottage for your stay!
It's important to take note that everything he needs to manage his business has been developped and integrated in our system in the last couple of years is still up and running in the backend of his new website. Not only does it allow each of its thousands of members manage their ads all by themselves, it also includes an auction for its featured ads, an invoice management system, automatic systems to de-activate expired ads, accounting reports, a newsletter system and much more!
