Facebook recently decided to put upfront its Marketplace to all users.

To follow-up on our October article about Facebook Marketplace, we've recently noticed that it's now displayed upfront on desktop as well as in their mobile application.

You can find Marketplace on your desktop here:

For the mobile application, you can find Marketplace here:

Marketplace allows you to find products near you (or another specific location), browse by category or search by price (including free products). Once you find the product you're looking for, you can contact the seller directly, make him an offer, save the ad for future consultation, share it or mark it as interesting. If you find something that shouldn't be on Facebook or if you uncover a scam, you also have a link allowing you to ask Facebook to remove this item.

Please take note that Facebook does not process payments directly (and it's not in its official plans either), so you'll have to manage the transaction directly with the seller.

Will you start using Marketplace for your classified ads? We believe that it should be taken seriously and will definitely be a threat to existing classified ads websites.
