Last Thursday, Facebook announced some changes to it's AI, including an update to it's photo search system.

Since their latest update, we are now able to search for a picture via its content. We've decided to put it to the test, so here's a list of different searches we've made:

  • bacon in a sandwich
  • chat gris
  • canadian flag
  • chien saucisse
  • superbowl ring
  • bikini
  • buff men
  • un plat de lasagne
  • black beard

As you can see, no matter which language used, the system worked great! So don't be surprised if eventually Facebook starts selling ads to companies that want to display their product when you search for a specific keyword...
